APRN, BC, MSNRachel is a Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Family Practice. She has practiced primary care medicine in the inner cities of Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Saint Paul, beginning in 1982. In 2008, she began traveling to the Arctic Circle where she treated the Inupiat people for up to six months each year through 2014. In 2015, she began working for various tribal organizations in Alaska including the Kenaitze Indian Tribe, Tanana Chiefs, Southeast Alaska Native Consortium in Sitka, and Copper River Native Association. Recently she has provided per diem medical care at Minnesota Community Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center with multiple sites in St Paul which provide comprehensive health care to homeless people, immigrants, Latinx, and other vulnerable populations.
